Wood Badge has taught me that learning is never ending. I am a firm believer that what & who you are and have done in the past is what makes you who & what you are today… and what & where you are today is what helps what you will be in the future. We never stop changing. |

I encourage every Scouter who wants to provide the best program to the youth of scouting to attend a Wood Badge course. This course will provide you with the tools and the motivation you need to challenge yourself and those around you to be better leaders and team members. |

Wood Badge is truly a life changing experience. It’s value goes far beyond Scouting. There’s no question that it improves your program, but the things you learn apply to so many other areas of your life, personal and professional. It has made me more effective in all my volunteer and business. It’s also more fun than you can imagine! |

Woodbadge is like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. It will change your life and will make you a better role model for the youth of your unit. I’m so excited about guiding you through your SR-940 journey. |

Wood Badge has something for everyone. I attended the course after being in the military for 20+ years and learned things that the military had never taught. So please take the time to consider what the course has to offer and grab a spot before they are all gone. |

Wood Badge is a tremendous experience that has provided me with insight into leadership skills that have helped me in both my professional life and my family life. Come join us in the spring of 2009 and share the experience. You will NOT be disappointed! |

I was nervous my first day of Wood Badge. I was a Wolf Den
Leader who was just beginning to understand how things worked. Then someone said "you should attend Wood Badge." |

I'd heard about this wooden badge thing since I was a young Scout in Troop 70 in Atlanta Georgia, but didn't know much else about it. It seemed like something mysterious and cool that old Scoutmasters did on weekends when they weren't taking us camping. Guess what? I found out I was right! Well, almost right. There's nothing mysterious about Woodbadge and it's not just for old Scoutmasters. Ask me! |

Wood Badge was an enriching experience for me… both in Scouting and my personal life. I met new friends and I am enjoying continuing contacts with them in scouting and daily activities. Wood Badge has helped me to recognize the needs of the youth in my units and be able to contribute more to their training activities. |

I believe in Wood Badge. I also believe that like anything else in this life, you get out of Scouting what you put into it. As a participant, if you will show up for this unique training with an open heart and a willing spirit, it may very well change your life, like it did mine. By diving into the soul of scouting, I've learned about the true nature of leadership and through my original course and my subsequent staffing experiences, I've made more cherished friendships than I can count. If they hadn't been already, I would want my best friend to go. I would want my husband to go. And most importantly, I would want my son's Scoutmaster to go. |

knowledge, it is inspiring change. Learning is more than absorbing facts, it is
acquiring understanding." |
